hELLO! i am sami!
I am a futurist who dreams of a world that exemplifies natural complementary living, a stage of bio-mimetics where nature and human living conditions will be symbiotic. I want an inclusive, healthy, zero pollution, zero carbon footprint civilization. For this purpose, I am conducting research on a wholly unprofitable and unfunded basis. I am a BIM and numerical simulation expert. Currently, I am working on artificial intelligence, data science, machine learning, and deep learning for more in-depth work in biomimetics, sustainable parametric architecture, generative architecture, and aesthetics. I am also highly motivated and emotionally attached to investigating inclusive architecture and visual-spatial configuration in the physical world and metaverse for individuals with unique abilities. I have experience in working with many research groups. I was a student researcher and strategic design champion of " Water As Leverage For Resilient Cities Asia" Powered By Mott Macdonald and UNDP. Furthermore, I plan to collaborate with VR/AR technologies in my research.
I was born on 27 July 1999 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. I earned a B. Arch and graduated from Khulna University of Engineering & Technology in 2023, one of Bangladesh's most reputed Engineering Schools.
I am the CEO and Operational Head at ADORA Studios (formerly known as Studio Animo, web: https://adora-bd.com/). He invests a portion of my earnings from ADORA Studios to run the research movement of https://samism.org/
I am also working as a lecturer in the Department of Architecture at the Northern University of Business & Technology.

Samism: Empowering Futurism With Innovative Design
Samism: Sustainability with Advance Modelling and Innovative Solutions of Multidiscipline
Numerical Simulation and Iterative Design
Samism emphasizes building performance evolution by promoting advanced computer modeling, such as building information modeling, energy modeling, and other simulation techniques. Using simulations and parameters from environmental criteria, natural forces and comfort aspects together produce vatiations in design options which lead us to test the best performance model and to a door of iterative design approach. This performance-based analysis also indicates the energy efficiency of the building.
Parametricism and Environmental Comfort
Samism produces analytical data on local materials, low carbon footprint embedded materials, natural forces, etc. for environmental comfort and sustainability achievement in architectural space. Combining this data with environmental and comfort criteria produces generative design, the first means of moving towards futuristic architecture.
Samism is a sustainable and futuristic architectural movement integrating biomimetics, localism, and contextual architectural practice with parametricism to ensure interior comfort, environmental safety, and energy efficiency. We work at the intersection of traditional knowledge and cutting-edge technology to create innovative, environmentally conscious, and comfortable spaces.
Parametricism, Biomimetics and Aesthetics
According to Samism, the aesthetics of a building can be produced through the application of biomimicry, which is a technique inherited from nature. Since nature is beautiful, so too should the finished product be. We explore the parameters that will ensure a symbiotic relationship with nature, as well as preserving comfort, environmental sustainability, energy efficiency, and beauty, with a greater emphasis on how nature might be adapted to architectural space.
Continuous Design Optimization and Interdisciplinary Collaboration
Symbiotic relationships come first in Samism. The intrinsic worth of design should complement the surrounding environment, and this cannot be done with a single choice. Samism opens up the method of continual design optimization to obtain better results regarding the performance of buildings on an ongoing basis. We are introducing some of the iterations, technical development, environmentally friendly building practices, and nature-optimized parameters that we are able to do with our limited resources. We looked at the developments in our many initiatives from various angles, noting both positive and bad indicators. This technique saves money and enables us to identify and evaluate each idea on a small scale.
A non-profit group like ours believes it to be the most effective strategy for realizing our larger vision of the future. With the aid of continual improvement, we hope to incorporate the beneficial lessons learned from prior initiatives into current and future projects. Another quality that greatly aids us in achieving successful implementation of continual design optimization is interdisciplinary collaboration. We can simultaneously monitor the achievement, in different aspects, even if it is so small, when we collaborate with different disciplines and different field experts of sustainability, such as aerodynamics, heat engineering, daylight, air quality improvement, urban design, landscape, and acoustics.
Technology & Software
To ensure performance-based solutions, we use a variety of software programs and technological breakthroughs.
We employ BIM software, such as Revit Architecture, Archicad, etc., to generate the digital representation of our architectural model. Dynamo can help us accomplish our simulation-based technique, parametric design, form change, and iterations.
Software like Comsol Multiphysics and CFD simulation are used for detailed simulations and research analyses.
Previously, we produced energy modeling using Revit, but now we integrate various programs into a single stream utilizing IFC, XML, Fbx, and Obj format.
We use UCL's Space Syntax and Revit integration for spatial analysis. We are currently attempting to provide a straightforward but efficient approach to integrate the syntactic data with our performance-based simulation. For mapping, we are dependent on ArcGIS and QGis.
Our long-term goal is to develop a symbiotic architecture for a sustainable future combining parametricism and biomimicry. We are creating machine learning and deep learning techniques for future Al collaboration on sustainable architecture design solutions. The Samism research movement is entirely non-profit and unfunded. The entire research budget is funded by ADORA Studios (https://adora-bd.com/), a design firm owned and operated by Mahmuda Yasmin Dola and Muhammad Golam Sami (https://mydola.org/). Additionally, we work with ADORA Studios' design projects to include our study findings. This is how we are moving forward in a mutually beneficial partnership with ADORA Studios.
